Description
This is a starting point to have an italian translation for MythWeb. At now, I just add a line in Translate.php to have the language listed in options, and completed a first revisione of Italian.cat to get categories in program listing according to latest sourceforge CVS XMLTV script for italian (tv_grab_it).
Italian.cat -> first revision completed (new file) Italian.lang -> currently a copy of English.lang (new file) Translate.php -> added a line for italian reference
NOTE:
according to: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Translation#Translate_MythWeb This ticket should be for Trunk Head but, since it's missing in the list, the reasonable choice was Master Head.

Yes I've contacted Morris, he teached me how to get the right path for submitting the translation, but telling the truth he didn't tell me to submit the patch now but, instead, to wait to have a complete module translated. Anyway, because of the fact that my primary goal was to have the categories translated to let the italian XMLTV working correctly, I thought that it could be better to complete this task, at first. The whole MythWeb translation need to wait more time, for several reasons: it's more than 1000 words; as far as I know I should be the only one working on it; and I am still not sure I can test it on my mythbuntu 10.10 because I'm running a different version than the GIT one. So, it's up to you to decide to accept the patch or not. As said, at now it accomplish only the "XMLTV categories" task, it's not a translation at all.
