MythTV doesn't schedule recordings selected in the frontend

Description
I'm using the German version of Mythbuntu (0.25-fixes 5c87d03153). I'm trying to schedule a recording by selecting the show within the EPG viewer. If i hit the menu button i get the choice to select 'Record This' (in fact it should say 'Aufnehmen'; all other buttons but this are translated into german) but nothing happens if i select this option. The show isn't marked for recording and Mythtv doesn't record it.
If i schedule the show within Mythweb the whole system works fine. After that i can even see that the show is marked for recording in the frontend.
The problem occurs since i upgraded from 0.24.2-fixes. The selected theme doesn't change the situation.
Pleas tell me what kind of information or logfiles you need to fix this issue.
