Program recorded as "STEREO" on mono-only capture card, only one channel recorded

Hello,

I'm using version MythTV v0.20, installed from Ubuntu packages, Hauppauge WinTV capture card. This card can only capture MONO sound. It looks like if TV program was marked as "STEREO" in listing I'm getting from Zap2it, it is being recorded as stereo , resulting in only single channel being recorded (and played back).

Can't find any way to force recordings (or playbacks of TV recordings) to MONO.

If TV program is not marked as STEREO in datadirect listing, it's recorded as MONO just fine.

Does this still happen with 0.21?

As a workaround, you could probably run a cron job which removes the STEREO flag from your database.
