Description
It would be very useful to add mplexid and serviceid fields to mythweb/settings/tv/channels. Right now I have to issue mysql transactions to view or edit this info.

Replying to stuartm:
Marking this as won't fix. You shouldn't ever need to edit those columns, if there is a problem with the scanner then open a ticket for that issue.
The Channel editor in Mythtv-setup, and the channels page in mythweb don't show the program number (ie servicid). Schedulesdirect can't deduce anything until I manually insert the cable channel number. It is much easier to do that if I know both the frequency and program number, since these circulate informally in various ways (silicondust has this by zip, and there are various local forums and mailing lists).
Even if I can edit this, at least the serviceid should be visible by one of these two interface.
I don't think this is a scanner issue, its a display issue.

That last reply (anonymous) is mine, and I also see a typo, "Even if I can ", should be "Even if I can't .."
