Description

Some relatively recent (in two weeks or so) change broke DVD playback for me. When I have AC3 to SPDIF enabled, the DVD does not output any sound and the video is very sluggy. Stereo playback and DVB is fine.

Lines like these are written to output:

WriteAudio?: buffer underrun ... NVP: Video is 30 frames behind audio (too slow), dropping frame to catch up. ...

I tried with the extra output buffering on and off and didn't work with neither.

Forgot to mention that skamithi's guess for the breakage was ffmpeg upgrade. I have to check a revision before the upgrade.

For the record, reverting 16192 did not help.

#4764 has a patch that fixes this issue
