metallurgy crashes when opening guide

as soon as i open the guide grid during livetv (tried nothing else), the frontend crashes. attached are the relevant loglines.

In the future, please post all the log info (which includes version info) or post the mythbackend --version info.

using this patch, the frontend doesn't crash anymore but the guide still does not open. looks like the theme isn't up to date.
