segfault running mythtranscode

Description

I've been unable to use mythtranscode for a few months. Currently using trunk r23411. On my backend machine, this is 100% reproducible with all files I have tried. On a test machine using the same video files, it works fine. Could very well be something on my end, but I've ran out of ideas.

This should be fixed in trunk now.
