Description

The program guide information stored in the mythtv database is a truncated version of the EIT data sent by stations. using version 0.23.0+fixes24158-0ubuntu2

system is a fresh install of ubuntu 10.04

EIT description length is defined by the EIT data itself. We establish the size of the description based on that data. If the description is being truncated, then it's because your EIT data specifies that the length of the description to be only 256 characters. Can you please update to current .24-fixes and provide -v eit logs of an EIT scan the results in trucated data being gathered?
