This may be related to ticket #9177

Procedure to generate error

Start "Watch TV"

Get MythTV in the mode that allows changing channels without "Error opening jump program file buffer" (see ticket #9177 work around)

Switch to analog tuner

The tuner I am attempting to use is the analog part of the ATI HDTV Wonder.

Additional Information

I can get this tuner to function by stopping the MythTV back end and running: 

mplayer tv://32 -tv device=/dev/video0:driver=v4l2:chanlist=us-cable:alsa:adevice=hw.1,0:amode=1:audiorate=48000:forceaudio:volume=100:immediatemode=0:norm=NTSC-M

In capture card setup I have:

One additional detail. After this error, audio is muted and I must go to System->Preferences->Sound and un-check the "Mute" check box.

This only happens when I try and select the analog tuner, not with the channel changing bug.

There is nothing here that appears distinct from #9177, closing as dupe. If #9177 is closed with any sort of fix and you see an issue, you can open a new ticket. As it is this ticket only confuses matters.
