Mythvideo unable to playback Apple photo DVD

Description
I have discovered that mythvideo's internal player is unable to playback a photo DVD created with apple software (I am unsure the exact software but the dvd has the apple logo on it that's all I know; and both vlc and mplayer can play the dvd. This happens both when played from optical disks and the iso from videos
When running from the terminal I get this error repeated

No response to request for further information after 7 weeks, closing as invalid.
We will need logs with -v playback and a backtrace per the manual/debugging page.
