Corrupted mono audio playback

Description
When watching live or recordings of a channel with mono audio (CNN) the audio is garbled. It sounds pitched up or modulated. The problem was not present in version 0.23.
The codec is: MPEG Audio layer 1/2/3 (mpga) Channels: Mono Sample rate: 48000 Hz Bitrate: 128kb/s

Good news, I am using Ubuntu 10.10 with avenard 0.24fixes version 2:0.24.0+fixes.20110129.7a6eab8-0ubuntu3. So I guess it will work in next avenard repository update.

Please provide a sample ; and which version of mythtv you are using (which distribution etc..)
mono audio works perfectly in 0.24 ; there was a problem with trunk with mono file (and as such the avenard 0.24 repository) : those problems have been fixed.
