No audio on dvd playback

Description

Menu navigation and video playback works fine on my Firefly DVD, but there is no audio - volume is stuck at 0. Immediately after seeing this, I went to a recent recording and it played back with audio (even if it is 300-400 msec out of sync).

Might be related to (or a dup of) Bug #8260

Forgot to mention: this is on a Ubuntu 10.04 system using PulseAudio?, and mythmusic works as well.

Nothing in the log indicates a problem with the audio framework.

Play the file with the -v audio,playback option

Does this happen if you're not using pulse but use ALSA instead (or ALSA pulse emulation: use ALSA:pulse device)
