#9668 closed Bug Report - General (fixed)

Separator lines in Change Group Filter window not skipped

Reported by: John Veness <John.Veness.mythtv@…> Owned by: paulh
Priority: minor Milestone: 0.24.1
Component: MythTV - General Version: 0.24-fixes
Severity: medium Keywords:

Description

In Watch Recordings, in the Change Group Filter window, there are two lines which are used as separators or headings. Specifically, they say "------- Groups -------" and "------- Categories -------".

Prior to the MythUI rewrite, these two lines would be skipped over when using the cursor keys to go up and down the list. Now, it is possible to highlight those entries, and indeed, press Enter on them which makes the Change Group Filter window disappear but doesn't change the filter in use.

I hesitated whether to post this, as I'm not sure if it will get closed as an "enhancement request without a patch". But seeing as Myth used to skip over those lines, I think on balance it is a bug.
