Wikiscripts takes so long to start it seems broken

Description

I just used mythwikiscripts and thought it was broken as when I ran it it gave no output for several minutes I thought it was broken. I finally decided to let it run and eventually I got the list of scripts to download. I imagine this time is the script parsing the wiki to list the scripts to download which is fine, but the script needs some notification to the user that it is doing so and will take a while.
