When I deleted all my capturecards for the multirec and recreated them, I found that the first input in mythtv-setup "Input Connections" in named DVBInput, whereas it used to be named DVBInput#1. The next inputs are named DVBInput#2 and so on.

The problem is that when the capturecard table is created, the defaultinput in the table capturecard is set by default to DVBInput#1, which no longer exists, its DVBInput.

As a result, mythtv does not start on livetv on the startchannel specified in cardinput.

which should it be DVBInput or DVBInput#1?

I have noticed a problem with the handling of deleting old episodes when recording new ones. My box is configured to record 2 episodes of show A and the setting for record new and delete oldest enabled. Upcoming records shows that it plans on recording the new episode and the logs show it starts recording it. However after about 3 minutes into the recording the expiring system deletes the currently recording episode instead of the oldest one. This happens to all my shows and is very reproducible.

I am using the latest version from Ubuntu's 7.10 repositories, 0.20.2-0ubuntu10.
