Hi Florian!
There is a small problem with your translation files.
None of them appear to have their language (header) set so when lupdate is run it is unable to apply rules relative to your language (such as the the plural rules).
This is why your are unable to provide two distinct translations for "star" and "stars" for example.
Usually the places where you see a word (such as "star", "item", etc...) followed by "(s)" Qt linguist is supposed to let you enter both a singular and one or more (depending of the language) plural forms (the XML generated by lupdate is different).
I can still look at your translation and set the language headers if you wish (I would set them to German/Germany? unless otherwise instructed by you) and commit the result. The next time you run lupdate with those headers in place lupdate will modify all those places where a plural is permissible so that you can enter it.
Please let me know what you want me to do, commit this with the language headers I mention or wait for a new updated translation from you.
Thank you!
Nicolas
PS: I had mentioned this problem to Elkin.
