Description
I know this was supposed to be fixed in 2009 but I recently installed mythtv over ubuntu 12.04 64 bit and am having this trouble with a new hdhomerun dual. It is connected directly to the Ethernet port on my hp pavilion laptop and the laptop is connected to the internet via wifi. The ethernet port is set to localonly as I had to set it that way to get the hdhomerun_config to recognize the tuners. As the old bug report states doing a hdhomerun_config discover and restarting mythtv-backend fixes the problem. I have noticed though that I have to actually stop the backend and then start it as running a restart doesn't seem to fix it.

Backend is being run before network is brought online. Make sure your init system is ordering things properly.
