Description
Expand on d49f3f22d by adding support for EnterPowerSavingMode?, allowing the firewire device to be powered off when not in use. Also avoids spinning up the port handler thread when only changing channels.

This looks like a nice simple patch. Should definitely go into 0.28
In future it would be better if the distinct changes were in separate patches.
