No video and choppy audio on internal player playback after update

Description

After upgrade to 0.27-fixes.20131113 I get no playback from the internal player. No settings were changed only upgrade occured. It appears that the file loads however only black screen and choppy audio gets displayed. Same results for a recording, live tv, and videos that are stored as iso's. Problem is repeatable and system is currently unusable. All files play fine with xine and vlc. System does not crash if left alone will just continue with choppy audio playback. If moved the mouse cursor does show on screen, however the menu will not even show up.

Changing the video playback from OpenGL High Quality--- to VAAPI or High Quality fixed this issue for me. Maybe OpenGL is now broken in Mythtv? Hopefully this is helpful as I have invested many hours into resolution.

Did you upgrade anything else on your system at the same time?

Are you trying to run too intensive of an OpenGL deinterlacer? An 8400GS is a pretty low end card.

Could be just seems odd that all was well until upgrade? You can close this ticket if you like. I just wanted you/others to be aware as I spent a lot of time trying to fix/undo this before I thought to change the settings.

This is marked as having a patch, it doesn't. It can be closed as it's not going to lead anywhere.

Closing at op's request. An Internet search will still find this ticket so hopefully others can quickly find the settings. (Closing as unverified as we don't know the cause)
