No problems playing recordings on any of 3 frontends.

Changed real IPV6 address in BE setup to :: and can now play videos. I don't know if there's a problem using real ipv6 addresses or what at this point, but I'm happy

There are some complications when trying to use link-local addresses, due to their requirement for an interface name, but those should have been recently resolved. Do any of your machines have multiple network cards?
