Can't see (or record) 2 simultaneous streams (rtsp)

Reported by: snouf@… Owned by: JYA
Priority: minor Milestone: 0.27.7
Component: MythTV - Recording Version: Unspecified
Severity: medium Keywords: rtsp iptv freeboxtv
Cc: Ticket locked: no

My IPTV provider (free, france) allows reading of two simultaneous streams (rtsp) but it does not work on MythTV.

On mythtv setup I configured 2 Network Recorder Encoder 1 [ FREEBOX : ] Encoder 2 [ FREEBOX : ]

When I start channel 1 with live TV on frontend 1 : Encoder 1 is used When I start channel 2 with live TV on frontend 2 : Encoder 2 is used but frontend 2 display channel 1

If I run vlc I can see channel 2 when Encoder 1 and 2 are used.

SnouF, do you have a capture of the network packets (e.g. from Wireshark) when starting the second LiveTV session? Does it work with two non-LiveTV recordings in parallel?

I'm wondering what is happening on the wire because the known issues should have been fixed already. (comment:1, #10667, #11979, #12036) So either we need to fix the same issue a third time (possible) or there is a different issue (can't really know without looking at the wire).

Reschedule all tickets planned for, but not solved in time for, 0.27.6 to 0.27.7.

Is this still an issue?

I am no longer provisionally internet provider "free". It is impossible for me to test.

And there is no feedback (negative or positive) on the forum
