audio sync issues with DTS pass through audio created with latest Handbrake

Description

After switching to a current Handbrake nightly build (started about two months ago), I'm having audio sync issues with movies ripped from bluray with passthru DTS audio using the high profile encoding profile (h.264). AC3 audio and DVD rips are fine. The same movies play fine using VLC and MPlayer using vdpau. With vdpau decoding, the playback is unwatchable in mythtv. Switching to software decoding, the audio appears synced, although the log output continues to spam sync errors.

Changes in Handbrake's encoding appear to be the breaking point, but the fact that both VLC and MPlayer work with the files points to a problem here.

I am using mythtv built from master as of one hour ago. The same issue exists with .27. This happens on all three of my frontends running three different versions of Ubuntu. One of the three has direct audio passthrough with no downmixing.
