    33The MythMainWindow::eventFilter interprets the !KeyEvent as a ke->key() < 0 and blackholes it.

    5 Reverting it (or preferably, only returning when keycode > 0) makes the OP's DOWN & TV "Recording Playback" actions start working for me.
