Description
Running mythfrontend on affected system gives blank screen for video playback and then crashes. Running mythfrontend as root mitigates the problem but still not a good solution.

This is an nvidia driver problem, the workaround is to downgrade the nvidia drivers until such time as a fixed driver is released.
Therefore closing this issue
