Guide preview not scaled correctly

Description

I am using the pcHDTV 3000 only, no SD tuners. When a channel is tuned, then I press M to get to the program guide, the preview in the program guide is incorrect. It looks like it is only showing the top left of the video.

I use 2 PVR-250s and a PVR-500. I see this as well. When I go into the guide, it basically stretches the video into a 16x9 format and sticks it inside of the same 4x3 box. I can see the top left hand corner of the preview and about 10-15% of the bottom is cut off and 30-40% of the right hand side is cut off. It has been doing this for a few months with multiple revisions from CVS/SVN. I reported it on the mailing lists as well over a month ago here:

The scaling works fine on an ATI 9500 Pro using the 8.16.20 proprietary ATI drivers. At the same time, the same version of MythTV doesn't scale properly with an nVidia 5200 with propietary nVidia 1.0.7676 drivers.

Someone mentioned before (on the dev list?) that some cards will only scale down so far. My fx5200, for example, will not scale down to the preview when running a PAL modeline but is fine at 1360x768.

Hence I don't think this a myth issue.

Right, inability to scale down properly is a driver and/or hardware issue.
