Description
I've recently upgraded from 0.19-fixes r10345 to SVN head r10598. On entering live tv, I get audio but no video (at all, i.e. no OSD either) until I change to another channel on the same multiplex. Some channels seem to be OK first time. I get the same behaviour attempting to watch a prerecorded (using 0.19-fixes) show.
My backend is a P3 with two DVB-T cards running Gentoo, a 2.6.16.1 kernel, and myth compiled witout CPU optimisations. I used to have EIT disabled, but that no longer seems to be an option.
My frontend is an Athlon64 running Gentoo, a 2.6.17 kernel, and myth compiled with processor optimisations enabled. It has a PCI NVidia GeForce5200, and XvMC compiled in (but _not_ in use - I'm using the standard software decoder.)
I have attached the output of ./configure --prev. I have also attached mythfrontend.log (with -v playback.) This log shows Mythfrontend starting up, and then switching to live TV and getting no video, then changing channel and getting video. I must admit, I can't see anything in there that looks obvious.
Please let me know if you need anyfurther debugging.
Cheers,
Jon
