Cannot schedule recordings using mythweb

Description

I applied the latest patch for recording_schedules.php to fix the problem reported in #2366. It did indeed fix the database errors but I cannot schedule recordings. If I attempt to do so I get a screen that shows that the recording is scheduled, but it also shows this:

MythTV Status: (Never Record)

and it doesn't get scheduled. I can schedule shows using the main UI but what's the point of mythweb if I can't do it there? :)

I can offer screenshots, or access to my machine if desired.

There are about half a dozen patches to fix that ticket, not just one. Please just grab the latest recording_schedules.php from the fixes branch:
