MythTV displays wrong info on lcd

Description

I select to let MythTV to only display the time on my lcd-display, nothing else. When i exit Appearance or move to the parent menu level everything is fine. But if i enter a sub menu, the lcd-display toggles between showing a "-" in the beginning of the first row, and displaying the menu that i'm currently on. To get the time to show again i need to enter and exit Appearance, or restart the frontend.
