Description
Hello,
I am running a master backend with 2 WinTV PVR500's. I have 3 Digital cableboxes connected to the Composite inputs of the 500's and 2 Coax cables connected directly to the tuners for analog cable.
This gives me a total of 6 sources.
The issue is whenever I watch livetv through Digital Cable (composite input). If I press the up arrow to change channels, myth goes to channel 3, pressing up again stays on channel 3.
Pressing down key works fine, changes from 3 to 954, 953 ,952 and so on. as soon as I hit up key, no matter what channel I was on it jumps right back to channel 3.
I can punch in a channel number directly which works perfect, untill I press up again which sets me back to 3.
same situation with the guide. select channel, guide changes to correct channel, press up, myth jumps back to channel 3.
Now if I switch to an Analog tuner input everything works fine.
Using SVN trunk from about 2 weeks ago.

We need the script, the "mythbackend -v channel, record" logs (for channel up & down).
Also is when it jumps to channel 3, does MythTV think it is on whatever channel you selected via the "up" key?

I just realized this is a 7 month old ticket, and more info was requested 3 months ago and not given, marking as invalid.
Is this still a problem? It could be something in the channel change script you're using. Post what digital cable boxes you're using and how you're interfacing with them (serial, usb, firewire?). From there people could see if this is a minor issue (fixing a script) or bigger.
