feature request without patch

There exists a java gui, XMediaGrabber (www.xmediagrabber.de), which can control a Dreambox/Dbox?, with neurtino/enigma1/enigma2 support, which supports channel zapping, eit grabbing, and recording of MPEG transport streams. Might look there for a first go.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
I'm looking into adding channel scanning, eit and udpstreampes support to the Dbox2 recorder. It might make sense to rewrite it as special dvb recorder so multirec can work on a dreambox. Janneg seems to be taking a look, too. Once that is in streaming from dreamboxes should "just work".
This should be category:dvb, priority:trivial, type:enhancement (as it's basically a feature request to support a new devices with a recorder)
