#5041 closed patch (fixed)

Patch to force detection of valid ffmpeg before allowing MythWeb/FLV to be enabled

Reported by: Jo Shields <directhex@…> Owned by: Rob Smith
Priority: minor Milestone: unknown
Component: mythweb Version: 0.21-fixes
Severity: low Keywords:

Description

This patch essentially reimplements a section of the file modules/stream/handler.pl in PHP - the code to find ffmpeg in $PATH is converted, allowing the settings page to determine whether or not any ffmpeg binary exists, and whether or not it was compiled with --enable-libmp3lame (as required for FLV streaming to function)

Howdy Jo,

In the future, can you upload with a (final) file extension of .diff or .patch, and can you use svn's patch (svn diff > file.patch), as it allows us to apply the patch much easier as well as view it in trac much nicer.

(In [17030]) Fixes #5041, this adds some detection if ffmpeg supports flash streaming before allowing it to be enabled. Thanks directthex\!
