Description

A couple months ago I lost WNYW and a couple other channels. When I use dvb-utils I find these channels without a problem, but when I try to scan for the in mythtv I get no results. When I try to import a channels.conf from dvb-utils I get the error "not in imported channel map" and I can not find the problem channels. I'm using mythtv in ubuntu intrepid but this problem occurs as well with a fresh installation in ubuntu hardy.

I've attached the channels.conf that I'm trying to import.

Another channels.conf with the same issue. More info: -Some of the channels in here appear to crash mythtv-setup (unknown which ones) -Some of the channels in here appear to redirect to another channel when tuning with a television tuner (changing the channel to 86-1 bounces directly to 2-1)

If there is any more info I can give that will be helpful please let me know.

According to the documentation we should NOT import channels.conf anymore! (see here: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/User_Manual:Setting_up_DVB-C_(cable) ) But since mythtv is still unable to do a proper scan - I'm not possible to get a proper setup (without modifying the MySQL database by hand)
Attached are a list of the channels mythtv was able to find - and a list of channels w_scan is able to find.

(In [20618]) Fixes #5849. Fixes segfault on buffer overflow in CA_PMT handler.

(In [20619]) Refs #5849. Use the vdr printf's wrappers more consistently (we retarget these to VERBOSE so that the debugging output is more sane in mythtv.)
