For Heroes recorded on Apr 4, 2009, MythTV's internal player shows a runtime of 54:47. However, if I look at the recording's information using ffmpeg, I get a runtime of 1:04:55.8 (I record for an extra 5 minutes in case it runs over). The ffmpeg output is: $ ffmpeg -i 1241_20090406210000.mpg FFmpeg version r11872+debian_3:0.svn20080206-12ubuntu3.1, Copyright (c) 2000-2008 Fabrice Bellard, et al. configuration: --enable-gpl --enable-pp --enable-swscaler --enable-x11grab --prefix=/usr --enable-libgsm --enable-libtheora --enable-libvorbis --enable-pthreads --disable-strip --enable-libfaad --enable-libfaadbin --enable-liba52 --enable-liba52bin --enable-libdc1394 --enable-shared --disable-static libavutil version: 49.6.0 libavcodec version: 51.50.0 libavformat version: 52.7.0 libavdevice version: 52.0.0 built on Mar 13 2009 17:52:45, gcc: 4.3.2 Input #0, mpegts, from '1241_20090406210000.mpg': Duration: 01:04:55.8, start: 12229.244378, bitrate: 12568 kb/s Program 1 Stream #0.0[0x7c0]: Video: mpeg2video, yuv420p, 1920x1080 [PAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 20000 kb/s, 29.97 tb(r) Stream #0.1[0x7c1](eng): Audio: liba52, 48000 Hz, 5:1, 384 kb/s I'm not sure what else to include. If you need any logs, let me know. I get the feeling it has something to do with Myth's player incorrectly reading/detecting the codec or bit rate though.
