Description
I appear to still be seeing the issue apparently resolved in ticket #1422:
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/1422
I am running Xubuntu 9.04 with MythTV installed from the ubuntu repositories (0.21+fixes). I have a DVB tuner card, Hauppauge HVR2250 (saa7164), and when I go to the input connections screen of mythtv-setup, I see the DVB input label, and there is no text field to put in the external channel-change script.
If this was fixed 3 years ago, any clue as to why I am seeing it in my install? Is this possibly just a regression?
I am happy to provide more information, if someone can give me an idea of what you need.
Thanks,
Jim

I need the channel change script to control my Comcast DCH70 cable box so that I can tune to all of the digital channels that I pay for, but which I cannot receive unencrypted without the cable box. The cable box does send out an ATSC signal, but I need to use an IR blaster to tune the channels.
Is there a config file that I can edit to supply the script? I don't really need the gui input box, and I am happier working from the console anyway.
Thanks,
Jim

Trac is not a forum, continue the talk on the mailing list, not trac.
Digital/analogue tuners do not require a channel change script, they are only required for firewire and capture cards.
