Mythweb video module doesn't display video name with non english character

Description
I haven't tested it with other characters, but the character 'é' causes the video name to not be displayed in mythvideo. I've confirmed that the video name exists in the videometadata table.
The specific name that is causing issues is "Léon (1994)".
I can't confirm if the same issue happens within mythtv itself. Will check later.

How was this added to the database? Via a 'blessed' method (mythfrontend?) or via some script? If you edit it in mythweb and replace it with the correct char, does it stick or does it break again?

When browsing to "Léon (1994)" with the mythvideo plugin of mythtv, the title displays, but the "é" is replaced by two box characters.
