Description
Currently a lot of themes are still referencing bitstream vera sans. As per http://www.gnome.org/fonts/ these fonts are no longer developed and will likely be removed from distros in the future. This has already happened for Ubuntu.
The replacement fonts are the DejaVu? family. See http://dejavu-fonts.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page for more information.
"The DejaVu? fonts are a font family based on the Vera Fonts. Its purpose is to provide a wider range of characters while maintaining the original look and feel through the process of collaborative development (see authors), under a Free license. "

Worth mentioning bitstream vera already doesn't exist in debian or ubuntu anymore. Any apps that were hardcoding references to it were supposed to switch over to Dejavu: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=461308

What about all the other themes other than default? Shouldn't these be updated as well? (Those in oldthemes/ and themes/ too)
