Recording overlaps between shows

I have set my mythtv to record 5 minutes past each show's real end time. I am also able to record several different channels at the same time due to my multiplex dvb-c card.

Now, assume there are two shows on the same channel or on the same multiplex.

Show A is from 3:00 to 4:00 and show B is from 4:00 to 5:00. With current mythtv (0.21), show A is only recorded for 60 minutes, not 65 minutes (like it would be unless show B was set to record).

Mythtv should record 65 minutes of show A if it's 1) on the same channel as show B, or 2) on the same multiplex as show B.
