I've tried to do some rudimentary debugging and I think that the tuner type isn't being passed in to ParseTuningParams? in dtvmultiplex.cpp I will try reverting changeset 21858 and report back if it made any difference tomorrow.

Going back to revision 21857 allows me to scan on DVB-T again. I don't know enough C++ to be much more help, but I will see if I can work out what's going on. My initial theory is that in the changeover between "OFDM" and "DVBT" something has got missed.

Does the patch on #7232 help?

While not the original bug raiser, I can confirm the patch in 7232 fixed the issue for me.
