Stop recording doesn't work from EPG

Description

Go to the EPG and start a current recording.

Press SELECT and choose "Stop Recording".

It doesn't stop.

Stop recording does work from Playback Box and View Scheduled.

(In [22393]) Remove event() from GuideGrid? and handle the events in customEvent instead.

For some reason event() was causing all customEvents to go AWOL. This fixes several bugs in the EPG like the menu not working and recording status not updating properly. Fixes #7267, #7244.
