Flash hangs until exiting frontend

Using the current ubuntu karmic koala and 0.22rc1 mythtv, I've noticed that whenever the mythtv frontend is open, flash videos and other flash applications will hang indefinitely until the front end is closed. This is regardless of which browser the flash is running ing (chromium and firefox tested). Streaming flash video (if the applet loads) will play for about 5 seconds and then stop.

MythTV suspends pulseaudio (which you have installed) when it is present. This prevents your flash from working. Myth expects to have complete access to the audio subsystem. You can uninstall pulse and use ALSA systemwide if you'd like both to work in tandem.
