Description

I am running, 0.22-fixes SVN 22512. I have a set of PAL region 2 dvds that won't play in mythvideo using the internal player. The same isos play fine in VLC. I tried FFMPEG + opengl, VDPAU - VDPAU and FFMPEG + VDPAU. They all yield the same result (garbled video). I attached a log with verbose playback enabled.

break out the dvd iso into its individual vob files using vobcopy or a similar tool. Play each VOB file using the "mythavtest" program, and see if the gargled video is there in any of the VOB files.

just tried each single VOB files with mythavtest , I do get the same gargled video behavior

Please provide a short sample created with dd that exhibits the issue on .23-fixes or later.

dd if=infile.vob of=outfile.vob bs=1024k count=40

The above will give you a 40 MB sample. Please test the sample file to make sure if causes the issue.

Thanks.
