Description
First off, thanks guys for such a kickass system! I've been trying to configure MythNews? to handle video podcasts, and it just seems that the functionality I'm hoping for is not there. Maybe others might find these enhancements useful, so I thought I would submit a ticket. Basically the following enhancements would improve the user experience with Video Podcasts:
- Caching of media, specifically I found if I setup an HD feed (try a Revision3 feed), select the news article and tried to open the media file, if I were to exit and return to that news article it would try to re-download.
- Automatic downloading of media, similar to the way iTunes handles podcasts
- Deleting of news articles, when adding an RSS feed, if there are several entries already previously read, it would be nice to be able to delete any news entry

Thank you for the kind words. Unfortunately we do not track feature requests in trac, and such tickets are closed as feature request without patch. You are welcome to add your suggestions to the Feature Wishlist in the wiki, but the fastest way to get what you want will be to write it yourself.
