#8306 closed patch (invalid)

MythCenter-wide Theme uses odd Fonts

Reported by: Geoff Newbury <newbury@…> Owned by: danielk
Priority: minor Milestone: unknown

Description

MythCenter?-wide has 3 places where the 'Droid Sans' font is used. This font is not normally installed in Fedora. DejaVu? Sans is the default replacement. The diff attached, changes the 3 places to make use of the Liberation Font, which is otherwise the standard font for MythCenter?-wide. (This hardly counts as a defect, more a pedantic nit-pick!)

See [23487] for why 'Droid Sans' was chosen.

Thanks Daniel. That makes sense. I guess I can live with the error message in my log!. Or install Droid.

Close this one! Although I note that there are large number of uses of the Arial font. I did not think that that was an open use font.

I installed "google-droid-sans-fonts-20090906-5.fc12.noarch" which seemed to take care of it. Also, I posted to the rpmfusion list that it should be added to the mythtv-theme package for fedora. I'm not sure if you're using that repo or atrpms.
