22khz tone switching not working with cx88

Description

I have a TBS 8920 DVB-S2 PCI card with cx88 driver supported chipset.

My dish setup is a 2.3m c-band with 2 LNBs, 1 aimed at Asiasat 3S and the other at Chinasat 6B. The LNBs are C-band dual output (1 for each polarity) and they go into a 4x4 multiswitch (voltage for polarity and 22khz on/off for satellite/LNB).

This hardware setup works fine for 2 DVB-S and DVBS-S2 STBs

I am on ubuntu lucid with linux-realtime kernel 2.6.33 from the ubuntu-studio PPA (I need a 2.6.33 kernel as it is first to contain a stable merged driver for my other card, a SAA/NXP Winfast DTV1000S).

I can tune all channels on the 22khz=off port but its cannot switch to the 22khz=on port.

The Winfast DVB-T is working fine.

I have tried "Tone" switch and also tried to work around the problem by setting the connect LNBs as "Custom - Universal" and setting the switching LOF to 3300 (also tried 1) so that all the C-band channels, which are 3400 to 4200, with access the "high band" with the 22khz tone, but to no avail.

Any hints/opinions? is this issue with the driver or mythtv?

Please close this. I got it working after switching back to the default 2.6.32 ubuntu official kernel and installing the latest drivers off the v4l-dvb mecurial repo
