Description

enhance the mythmusic telnet interface to match the capability of core myth and mythvideo.

With videos, recordings, schedules and livetv you can initiate playback of a particular programme. With mythmusic you can only move to mythtv then emulate keypresses which means you need to know of (track) the context.

The idea would be to enhance the telnet interface to the stage that a SONOS type GUI remote is possible; this would permit the enhancement of projects such as mythdroid to present albums, artists, playlists and initiate the playback of these items from a remote screen, tablet or interface.
