Description
When playing back a 720p 60fps H264 recording on a Windows frontend with ION video, I get lots of pauses in the video. Playing back a 720p 60fps MPEG recording, there are no pauses. The H264 is from an HD-PVR with default bitrate setting and the MPEG is from an HDHR. In both cases, CPU usage for mythfrontend, according to Task Manager, is in the 30% to 40% range. Using Direct3D for playback, no filters.
To eliminate potential network issue, I created a Videos directory locally and copied the recording there, but it still had the pauses. I tried muting sound to eliminate audio issues, problem still exhibited.
Log of session attached, session consists of starting up mythfrontend with -v playback, timestamp, starting playback of video, waiting long enough for the OSD to go away and observe pauses happening, and then exiting.
mythfrontend --version output:

Let me know if I can provide any other info.
Your Ion box isn't even close to powerful enough to handle that content in Windows, for which MythTV lacks hardware decode support.
