Cutlist editor doesn't react to aspect ratio changes

Description
When editing the cutlist on a recording which switches between 4:3 and 16:9, the aspect ratio does not visually change on-screen. That is, if I press E while the recording is currently in 4:3 ratio, then navigate to a bit that should be in 16:9, it will still be displayed in 4:3.
In 0.24 and earlier, the aspect ratio used to visibly change as you navigated through the recording in the cutlist editor. This was useful as it was often a good way to see where adverts started and stopped.
This is only a problem in the cutlist editor - normal playback of the recording correctly reacts to aspect ratio changes.
As far as I know, this problem started with the upgrade to 0.25, although I didn't notice it immediately as these kind of mixed aspect ratio recordings are not that common.
I'm up-to-date on 0.25-fixes from the mythbuntu-repos. I'm sorry I'm not in front of my machine right now to give output of --version.

Thanks for looking into this. I have uploaded two video samples - one changing from 4:3 to 16:9, and one changing from 16:9 to 4:3. These are from UK DVB-T, by the way.

By the way, can someone change my embarrassing typo of "reaspect" to "aspect" in the ticket title?

John,
I should be able to figure this out, but I don't have any mixed aspect ratio material to test on. It would very helpful if you could upload a very small sample, or if you are in a position to build and test patches. Are either of those possible?
