#10446 closed Bug Report - Crash (Invalid)
Seg Fault on switching audio streams in Blu Ray.
Reported by: | Owned by: | JYA | |
---|---|---|---|
Priority: | minor | Milestone: | unknown |
Component: | MythTV - Audio Output | Version: | 0.24.1 |
Severity: | low | Keywords: | audio, crash, |
Cc: | Ticket locked: | no |
Description
Watching 2 different Blu Ray rips. The first rip "Top Gun" doesn't play the DTS MasterHD audio at all (the frontend used to play HD Audio codecs in the past). I can switch to AC3 and it will play that AC3 stream correctly. If I switch back to DTS MasterHD, the audio doesn't play and the frontend still plays video fine. When I watch the second Blu Ray rip, "Jurassic Park", the Dolby TrueHD stream doesn't play audio at all. So I move to another audio stream (AC3) and that plays. When I move back to the TrueHD stream, the frontend crashes. I have the gdb output as well.

I have no idea what that .tar.gz file is, but it's certainly isn't a tar.gz file. I can't open it
There is no need to compress a backtrace.. you should be able to attach it here as-is, and it;s much easier to review

Also, the build you are using is over 5 months old... upgrade to latest version

Upgrade your copy of myth, no point chasing a crash from a particular unsupported branch that had extensive amount of changes. It is probably no longer relevant today
The crash is in ffmpeg lib too

You're right. I just finished an upgrade to MythBuntu? 11.10 x64. Then I setup the JYA repo. That brought me to 0.24.2. I had the JYA repo on Maverick, but for some reason, it would not upgrade me to 0.24.2. I have tested these BluRay? rips again, and they are playing perfectly. Thanks for the assistance, you may close this ticket.
