pcHDTV 5500 cannot be added as capture card in MythTV setup

Description

Running Mythbuntu 12.04 MythTV 0.25

If I go into backend setup and add a capture device. I select card type "DVB DTV capture card (v3.x)" There is nothing in "DVB Device"

Everything was working fine until I upgraded.. :(

Do you actually have device nodes showing up in /dev/dvb/adapter<n>?
Does the user you are running mythtv-setup as, as well as the user that will be running mythbackend, have read and write permissions to those nodes?
We need logs from mythtv-setup.

Thank you for the feedback. The issue seems to be permissions to the nodes.

Could you point me to a location to get information about how to set device permissions correctly?

Leave the device permissions as they are. Add your user to the group that has ownership.
