Description
Since I updated from 0.24.x to 0.25, I am experiencing a strange problem with the LiveTV.
When starting LiveTV, as well as when switching channels (no matter if same multiplex or not), it seems to depend on how fast (or slow) the tuner of my DVB-S card is (WinTV Nova-S-Plus) is.
If it is fast, MythTV seems to "buffer" a few seconds of video before I actually see a picture. But if it is slow, the picture stutters.
As a workaround, I found out, that when the picture stutters and I press the [i]-button, the remeaning seconds for the actual recording show 3 or less. If I press the PAUSE key and wait a few seconds to let it record some seconds, the playback works fine.
What I also recognized is, that I no longer get a T when switching channels. Instead of TLMS, it only shows _LMS on all channels, but I still get a picture. No idea if that matters. But I've never figured out what those letters mean and I found no documentation on them.
Problem is solved. The profile I previously used was deleted and reset to default. Switching to another HQ profile made my day. That thread helped me to figure it out: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1956746
